Almost ready, but need to know more?
Schedule a free 25-minute phone consult. This
is your time to ask those questions not answered here, and for each of us to get a
feel for whether we might want to work together. To set up your time, please email
or voicemail 909.239.8313. If we decide to try an initial session, the next step is finding time in our calendars.
Scheduling Your Appointment
Fees, Cancellation Policy
Sessions are 60 min ($85) or 90 min ($120). Payment by cash or check is due at time of service.
If you must cancel your appointment, doing so 24 hours in advance relieves you of financial obligation.
I do reserve a small proportion of my practice for sliding-scale clients. If financial resources are an obstacle to you receiving therapy, let's discuss your concern.
Directions
Map. 226 W. Foothill Blvd, Suite E. Find our building with signs for "Florist" and "Mosaique" in front. Entrance to Suite E is down a ramp on SE side of building. Parking is available on Foothill or at rear (south) of building.
If you arrive a bit early for your appointment, you may enjoy a walk nearby. Claremont's private college campuses, quiet residential streets, and the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden are all within blocks of our office. Shops and restaurants of downtown Claremont are located about a mile south.
About Your Health
Your health history can yield clues to direct our work together. As we review what has happened, I'll be most interested in how you are doing now, and what you hope for, from this session, or otherwise. Your primary complaint (is it physical, or a life situation?) may be what got you here. How long has it bothered you? How severe? Is it related to an event, or to other symptoms? What HELPS, even a little bit?
What to Wear
This is a bit different, depending on your goals. All clients who wish to remain fully clothed may do so. Comfortable clothing such as sweat pants, gym shorts, is appropriate for any session.
For postural assessments (typically, in your initial session) and for visceral work, it helps me to see the torso if you wear a two-piece swimsuit, or underwear (and bra if female).
Massage therapy clients may choose to disrobe so that lotion may be used; a sheet will be draped over you while on the table. Many of my supportive touch techniques do not require disrobing.
Somatic Experiencing clients never disrobe.
